About This Trek
Escape the crowds on this scenic trek through the pristine Langtang Valley. Trek through alpine meadows, dense forests, and meet the warm Tamang people. This trek is known for its wildlife, including red pandas and Himalayan black bears, and its stunning mountain scenery. Detailed 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi
Drive to Syabru Besi (6 hours). Trek along the Langtang River through forest trails. Experience your first night in the mountains.
Day 2-3: Syabru Besi to Langtang Village
Trek through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows to Langtang Village (3,380m). The trail becomes steeper but rewards with magnificent views.
Day 4: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa
Reach the sacred Kyanjin Gompa monastery at 3,430m with panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks.
Day 5: Kyanjin Gompa Acclimatization
Optional trek to Tsergo Ri (4,949m) for stunning sunrise views. Visit the local cheese factory and explore the valley.
Day 6-7: Return Trek
Trek back to Syabru Besi and drive to Kathmandu. Reflect on your mountain adventure.
